JOB SUMMARY

As a VFX Animator at AIOI Studios, you will specialize in creating dynamic and realistic animations for characters, creatures, vehicles, and environmental effects to support visual storytelling. Collaborating with diverse teams, you will play a critical role in crafting seamless animations that integrate into high-quality VFX sequences. We are looking for individuals with a deep understanding of animation principles, physical realism, and experience in working within a VFX pipeline. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Produce high-quality animations for characters, creatures, objects, and environmental elements that align with the project’s artistic vision and technical requirements. 

• Work closely with Animation Leads, VFX Supervisors, and Directors to understand and fulfill complex animation needs for VFX-heavy sequences. 

• Integrate animations into live-action plates, ensuring realism, weight, and adherence to visual effects standards. 

• Collaborate with the rigging and modeling teams to ensure the functionality and appeal of characters and assets. 

• Collaborate with other departments, such as modeling, texturing, and lighting, to ensure seamless integration of animations into final scenes. 

• Implement feedback from supervisors and directors to improve the quality and realism of animations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in VFX animation, working on films, series, or high-end commercials. 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in animation, computer graphics, or a related field. 

• Strong understanding of VFX pipelines. 

• Good understanding of animation principles, including weight, timing, realism, and physics-based movement. 

• Basic knowledge of rigging and modeling processes to ensure animation functionality. 

• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software, such as Maya. 

• Good communication & coordination skills. 

• Ability to work well in a team and perform under tight deadlines. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently within project deadlines.

JOB SUMMARY 

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3D Compositor to join our visual effects team at AIOI STUDIOS. As a 3D Compositor, you will be responsible for seamlessly integrating visual effects elements into live-action footage, creating stunning and realistic final images. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor, Lead Compositor, and other team members to understand the creative vision and requirements of each shot or sequence. 

• Use industry-standard compositing software (e.g., Nuke) to composite multiple elements, including live-action footage, CG assets, and visual effects elements, to create final images that meet the project’s artistic and technical standards. 

• Perform advanced compositing tasks such as multi-pass compositing, 3D projection, depth integration, and relighting to achieve photorealistic results. 

• Ensure consistency and continuity in the look and feel of shots or sequences, following established style guides and technical specifications. 

• Collaborate with the CG team and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to compositing, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient delivery of high-quality work. 

• Manage multiple shots or sequences simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of completed work within project deadlines.

 JOB REQUIREMENT

• Above 2 years of experience in compositing for visual effects, with a strong portfolio or showreel showcasing advanced 3D compositing work. 

• Expertise in compositing software such as Nuke, with a solid understanding of 3D compositing techniques. 

• Familiarity with VFX pipelines, rendering processes, and passes. 

• Strong artistic and creative sensibility, with an eye for detail and expertise in lighting, color grading, and visual effects integration 

• Good communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to receive and apply feedback constructively. 

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines without compromising quality.

·        Develop and implement advanced lighting setups in Houdini to achieve photorealistic and cinematic results.

·        Collaborate with the shading, compositing, and CG teams to seamlessly integrate lighting elements into final shots.

·        Work with render engines to optimize rendering performance while maintaining visual quality.

·        Troubleshoot technical and creative issues related to lighting and rendering, ensuring efficiency in the pipeline.

·        Assist in creating shaders and textures as needed to support lighting workflows.

·        Continuously refine and enhance lighting techniques to meet the project’s artistic and technical goals.

·        Follow creative direction and ensure consistency with the overall visual style of the project

·        2–3 years of experience as a Lighting Artist, preferably in Houdini, within a VFX production environment.

·        Proficiency in Houdini’s lighting and rendering workflows; experience with render engines

·        Strong understanding of lighting principles, shading networks, and rendering techniques, particularly in a VFX pipeline.

·        A sharp eye for detail, color, mood, and composition, with the ability to create realistic and atmospheric lighting.

·        Basic understanding of compositing principles and how lighting integrates into the final shot.

·        Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

·        Strong troubleshooting abilities for both technical and artistic challenges.
