JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented and creative Concept & Matte Painter to join our visual effects team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality concept art and matte paintings that enhance our visual storytelling and bring to life the detailed worlds and environments in our projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong artistic vision, technical skill, and the ability to collaborate within a creative team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Concept work:  In this role, you will consult with the creative team, interpret the concepts for the project, and translate the briefs into visual artworks for VFX, Realistic or webtoon project.

·        Develop the initial visual concepts (characters, props, vehicles, environments) from a script or creative brief.

·        Generate concept art that conveys the look, feel, and mood of characters, environments, objects, and scenes.

·        Produce high-quality final art for production.

About the Matte Painting work:

·        Create photo-realistic and stylized matte paintings for backgrounds, set extensions, and environmental effects to blend seamlessly with live-action footage or 3D elements.

·        Integrate 2D and 3D elements as required and refine paintings to achieve the desired level of realism and consistency.

·        Understand all aspects of digi-matte workflow and know how to combine 2D and 3D elements

·        Setup, image re-projection, and apply atmospherics and light effects.

About this role responsibility:

·        Follow guidance from art directors and team leads to meet all deliverable requirements.

·        Ensure all artwork adheres to the production’s technical and artistic standards.

·        Utilize digital software and traditional art techniques to create high-quality illustrations and designs.

·        Implement revisions based on feedback from the production team and art director as needed.

·        Maintain a high level of detail and efficiency, managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.

·        Continuously develop skills and enhance processes by staying informed about industry trends and techniques.

VFX Supervisor

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Concept Artist, Matte Painter, or Graphic Designer, preferably within a VFX, animation, or game studio setting with a strong foundation in realistic (not cartoon-style) environments (Open for Fresher/Junior)

Education: Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.

Technical Skills

·        Proven expertise in Photoshop, with experience in 3D software such as Maya, Nuke, or Blender for projection mapping and seamless scene integration.

·       Good Photo Manipulation, human anatomy, academic drawing and have your own style. 
Good knowledge of matte painting techniques including color space, digital paint techniques, and Photoshop file management (be it file format, bit-depth resolution, or appropriate layering of elements)

·        Knowledge of A.I-supported workflows or a willingness to learn, with an interest in leveraging A.I tools to enhance efficiency and creative output. (Stable diffusion , generated A.I)

·        Flexibility to produce concept art from scratch.

·        Basic knowledge and understanding of visual effects pipelines, production, and implementation

·        Extensive understanding of matte painting techniques, including color space, photorealistic collaging, digital painting, and asset projection.

·        Strong drawing skills.

·        Comprehensive awareness of anatomy, facial expression, pose, posture, gesture, and movement to create lifelike representations.

·        Good understanding of essential visual principles, including texture, color theory, dimension, scale, perspective, shading, depth of field, proportion, and spatial awareness to enhance composition and realism.

·        High attention to detail, ensuring all work meets project and quality standards.

·        A proactive approach to learning new software programs, tools, and AI-integrated processes to remain at the forefront of industry advancements.

·        Ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team, with clear and constructive communication skills to align on creative vision and technical feedback.

·        Organized and reliable in delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines and across multiple projects.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled Line Producer to join our team. The Line Producer will play a critical role in overseeing the production process, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.  

This position requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a good understanding of the VFX pipeline and production workflows. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with Production Managers, Leads, and Supervisors to develop, implement, and maintain production schedules, ensuring alignment with internal and external deadlines. 
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables. 
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project schedules and provide guidance and support to Production Assistants accordingly. 
  • Responsible for gathering bids for new assets or shots, or changes to the current scope of work within the designated production lines and tracking and recording all changes to the project scope. 
  • Coordinate the distribution of briefs, information, and materials to team members within the designated production lines and ensure timely assignment of tasks. 
  • Receive and address feedback/comments, proactively resolving any issues that may arise during production for the designated production lines. 
  • Conduct basic quality control checks on incoming and outgoing files within the designated production lines to maintain project integrity. 
  • Ensure timely completion and delivery of project deliverables for the designated production lines according to schedule. 
  • Foster a positive departmental morale and contribute to a supportive team culture within the designated production lines.

The Visual Effects Production Assistant (VFX PA) role is an entry-level position to introduce you to the visual effects pipeline. You will take direction from the production team, including the Production Manager or Line Producer. Our expectation would be to see you excel in these responsibilities with the hope that you will have fun, get to work with some very creative and talented individuals.
